It was a wild and unexpected ride to get here on championship Sunday, but the matchup for Super Bowl 58 is set.
For the second time in five years it’ll be the San Francisco 49ers against the Kansas City Chiefs. The Niners have been favored to win the big game for the majority of the 2023 season, but the Chiefs are the defending champs who just pulled off a big upset of the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC championship game. So, who’s favored to come out on top in Las Vegas on Feb. 11?
It’s the 49ers, with an opening line of -2 at BetMGM. The Chiefs’ opening moneyline is +115 and the over/under is 47.

It’s a different set of circumstances from when these teams met in 2020 and the Chiefs beat the Niners as 1.5-point favorites. Kansas City may not be favored this time, but the line will undoubtedly do a lot of moving in the next two weeks before the rematch.
