Prince Harry cracked jokes during an unexpected appearance at the 2024 NFL Honors awards ceremony – not long after rushing back to the US after his brief visit to cancer-stricken King Charles in Britain.
The Duke of Sussex jetted to London to see his father after the monarch’s cancer diagnosis sent shockwaves across the world.
However last night, he surprised onlookers by appearing on stage in Las Vegas to make some light-hearted gags at an American football awards ceremony ahead of the Super Bowl.

The 39-year-old presented the Walter Payton Man of the Year award to Pittsburgh Steelers footballer Cameron Heyward at the event at the Resorts World Theater, leaving the audience gasping in surprise.
Harry joked about the players “taking a breather every 15 seconds” and then said: “Instead of a 10-month season, let’s just make it 18 weeks. Genius.”
He added: “Joking aside, what you do on and off the field is remarkable. You are role models for millions in the way you carry yourselves and give back.”
When he accepted his award, Heyward said: “I’m in shock. That’s Prince Harry.”
