Drake Bets $1.1M on Chiefs to Win Super Bowl 58: ‘I Can’t Bet Against the Swifties’

You ever just casually drop a $1.1 million bet on a football game?

No? Well, Drake just did, placing that wager on Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs in Sunday’s Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, posting his betting slip on Instagram.

This may not bode well for the defending champions, as Drake’s recent betting history is… rough.

Perhaps you are familiar with the “Drake Curse.” Most recently, he bet $700,000 on former UFC middleweight champion Sean Strickland, who was promptly defeated by Dricus du Plessis. He had previously wagered $500,000 on Israel Adesanya defeating Strickland at UFC 293, which again didn’t hit.

In February, Tommy Fury cost him $1.2 million after winning a split decision over Jake Paul.

For those of you keeping track at home, that means he lost $2.4 million on those three fights.
